Clarity Comms is an award-winning social media and PR agency specialising in food and drink. Founded in 2013 we work for brands in the beer, craft beer, cider, restaurant, spirits and wines categories.
From day one you’ll be supporting our clients’ community management requirements. This involves social media content planning, monitoring client channels, liaising with client teams and talking to consumers via social media. You’ll also be given the chance to join in generating ideas for client campaigns, new business activity and help drive the agency’s own PR.
This position will initially be a 3 month fixed term contract. Depending on the successful completion of the position, and business needs, there may be scope for the role to be extended but cannot be guaranteed at present.
A typical day might look something like this:
- 09:30 am: tea & planning of the week’s workload
- 10:30 am: monitor all client’s social media channels, ensuring all posts are replied to and queries sent to client
- 12:30 pm: email updates to our clients
- 13:00 pm: lunch
- 14:00 pm: more tea
- 15:00 pm: write blog post for Clarity and the week’s tweets
- 16:00 pm: check client channels for messages
- 16:30 pm: brainstorm campaign ideas for new business pitch
- 17:30 pm: tea then home
It’s a cliché but we’re looking for a dynamic individual who has a real passion for marketing and our clients.
You will be integral in helping us to build our reputation within the food and drink sector. You’ll get to attend industry events, training courses and of course, you’ll get to sample a few of our client’s products!
If you’re looking for an easy career route this isn’t the role for you. We work hard but we really enjoy what we do and we want someone to be part of our close knit team.
You MUST be a superb writer. It’s 90% of what we do. Of course we’ll teach you how to craft killer social media content but please don’t apply if you haven’t got the basics.
