When you think of the phrase ‘graduate level jobs’, sales might not immediately spring to mind. Working in sales is, however, a challenging career, and one which can be rewarding both in terms of job satisfaction and annual income. Why Sales if You Have a Degree?

Think ‘sales’ and you might think of the person behind the till in your local coffee shop or the uniformed worker in a department store. In fact, there’s more to sales than immediately meets the eye, and this is one of the most diverse industries you could work in. Many companies will go out of their way to keep their best salespeople on board. On top of a nice base salary, you might also find you can earn bonuses and commission for selling well. That could see you earning a very healthy annual income, easily comparable to those jobs which are promoted as ‘graduate level’.
This is also a great field to work in if you like social interaction and enjoy talking to people. Selling is, after all, about building relationships and the human touch.
